RONGHUAN KUHWA: MILLET FESTIVAL OF THE NOCTE’s
RONGHUAN FESTIVAL OF THE NOCTE’S.
* It is celebrated with great pomp and show in the Nocte villages in the month of of August or Monsoon season. It’s original name was ‘Ramhuan’ meaning (Offering to the almighty) but later on changed to Ronghuan.
Ronghuan literally means rituals and it is celebrated after the harvest of millet crops. This Ronghuan festival is celebrated since the time immemorial.
